Speed at Which Sakura Fall

So lets start this off with a rant about a manga i just "finished" called

5 Centimeters Per Second
By: Makoto Shinkai
Art by: Yukiko Seike

Not that old of a manga being made back in 2010. I say "finished" because it only has 11 chapter, each being almost 50 pages each and that's it. This was getting to be such a good read, especially since i been putting it off for probably the worst reason to not read something ... the title. Only till i got into reading it that it became why the title is as such, but does it well in a odd sort of way. One thing this manga did that made me slow down was the the way it kept fast forwarding the story. Really not a bad thing to do to keep things flowing but then i found an issue. They keep presenting question and DIDN'T ANSWER ANYTHING. I mean they sorta did thinking back now ( crappy way ) but come one this could have gone longer without hurting the story at all.

Is worth mentioning that this manga is a adapted from the Movie, which i WILL be watching because they gotta end it better then they did. Will do a rant/review of movie which will be either edited updated in this post or get a new one depending when i get time to watch ... do have a career after all Lmao

Still worth the time to read and would recommend it just based on the artwork in it.

Update: 11/22/12

Finally got around to watching the movie that the manga is based on and have to say it still sad. The manga did go farther than where the movie leaves off but still left wanting more. This just furthered the idea that this should of gone on longer than it did and won't have lost anything in doing so. Since i did this backwards i guess i feel more disappointed. But glad that i finally gave this title a chance and would recommend doing this title in the proper order of movie first, manga second because of the difference in endings.
